The Family

I have been lucky enough to be vjing regularly at Brisbane's biggest nightclub, The Family. This multi - level club features international and national performers each weekend with superb lighting, sound and an amazing visual display to work on. The visual setup changes every few weeks and has included in the past 10 projectors placed throughout the basement level, a giant LED wall, video mapping onto 4 white masks and digital monitor displays depending on the evening.

My involvement with the festival was focused around co-ordinating the visual display on the large projection screen. For this we used a 9m x 4m screen, 3 x 6000L projectors and a matrox 3toGo to create the cinematic panorama.

I vj'd throughout the early evening to the performances and then projected video loops and animation designed to accompany a story & musical performance called "pheonix the wanderer."

This work community arts project was written and produced by Emily and Fredrick Holler with events management by Kylie Mitchel-Smith, a/v and visual co-ordination of the evening by radiumSalt and Alistar Wenden

Neelix

This progressive psy event held at the hifi bar in west end was a success on many fronts. Seeing 600 people thought the door made Tristan Williams (TP entertainment) who organised the event pretty happy. Myself and Luminos Flux the visuals for the evening.
